Enhancements to the current ACH process

The TPA is notifying all CGDP participants of a pending change in the way the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Identifier information is included in our Automated Clearing House (ACH) credit transaction communications.

                                               

An EFT Identifier included with CGDP payments currently appears in the Description field of the transaction record transmitted to your bank. Enhancements to the current ACH process implement the National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) Standard Entry Class (SEC) code ACH format of a Corporate Credit or Debit with Addenda record (CCD+).  This modification to CCD+ will relocate the EFT Identifier from the Description field to the Addenda record.
